Scotland Euro 2020 foes Czech Republic in injury sweat for Hampden opener as group opponents could lose half their backline

Scotland. Jaroslav Silhavy could be without half of his preferred backline for the Hampden showdown in seven days’ time. Silhavy is already missing banned Ondrej Kudela following the Slavia Prague veteran’s UEFA ban for racially abusing Rangers star Glen Kamara.

But now Sparta Prague stopper Ondrej Celustka is a major doubt for the clash against Steve Clarke ’s side after going off injured at half-time in Friday’s 4-0 friendly thrashing by Italy.

And adding to Silhavy’s concerns is Bristol City skipper Tomas Kalas who missed the Italy clash and will be assessed along with Celustka by Czech medics at their base back in Prague.
