Sam Heughan is given a 'seat for life' as Lyceum Theatre present him with a brass plaque

Sam Heughan was over the moon to receive a 'dedicated seat for life' in the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh.Last year, over £57,632.17 was raised in the 'Save A Seat For Sam campaign', which supporters donated to by purchasing a ticket to a virtual event in celebration of the Outlander actor, to help support Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum Theatre during these tough times.And now to honour the campaign, a brass plaque has been placed on one of the seats permanently and reads: "A theatre so close to my heart - Sam Heughan'.Due to the coronavirus restrictions sadly there won't be a grand unveiling but organisers are hopeful that when restrictions are lifted, Sam can stop by to see his new plaque.
