here Headteacher Julia Kinch told the Manchester Evening News that many of the students who worked on the mural are in their final year of primary school and have been saddened at the sight of the vandalism.
She said: “The mural was created as part of a community art project five years ago and involved pupils from the school working alongside other community groups.“They are now in Year 6 and set to leave the school this year.
They are really upset and angry about the damage which they now have to walk past every day.“They were very proud of their work as they worked hard on the mural and felt it really added to the community.
