Keane made the shock admission during a light-hearted Q&A session with fellow former United star Gary Neville, while filming the latest episode of The Overlap for Sky Sports.
The former Republic of Ireland international, who is often seen alongside Neville on Sky as a pundit, played alongside Schmiechel at Old Trafford for six years — during which time the pair helped the club secure no shortage of pieces of silverware.
