Roman, 29, and Kate, 54, became close after bonding in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle back in 2019. But just three months after the ITV reality show wrapped, Kate’s husband Derek Draper was admitted to hospital with Covid-19 and later placed into a coma.

Viewers also saw Kate and Derek flying to Mexico so the dad-of-two could undergo treatment. Speaking exclusively to OK!, the Capital Breakfast host calls the situation “absolutely heartbreaking” and “terrifying”.
