Pop star Rita Ora has been forced to apologise for a second time for breaching COVID restrictions in the UK. This time the 30-year-old flew to Egypt for a private performance on 21 November but failed to self-isolate upon her return.
Under the UK rules, much like in Ireland, she should have isolated for two weeks. Making things even worse, she instead threw a birthday party in London, which was itself in violation of lockdown rules.
The singer apologised for throwing a birthday bash in a restaurant. On her social media channels she said she realised she had made an ‘inexcusable error in judgment’ as she realises ‘how irresponsible these actions were’.
