Residents find NAILS hidden in grassy area used by children - with sick warning attached to them

Disgusted residents have contacted the police after someone left metal nails sticking up from the ground in a grassy area used by children walking to school.

One resident, who asked to remain anonymous, said she spotted the nails for the first time yesterday afternoon (January 26), near flats off Browning Road in Swinton.

The area is a communal garden belonging to those who live in the flats and sits directly across from the popular Moorside Park. Beware!" One resident who lives nearby with her daughter, said of one: "It's a 12 inch full-on metal nail sticking out of the ground.
