Ally McCoist has called for Britain's footballers to follow the example of Rangers stars when they were in administration and save the jobs of regular staff members.

The Ibrox legend is in disbelief that clubs such as Tottenham are putting non-playing staff on furlough while owner Daniel Levy is paid a £7million bonus for their new stadium.
