The Glasgow club has said today’s match would be a “test event” for the scheme, which has been brought in across Scotland to only allow fully vaccinated people into some large events and nightclubs.It means football clubs with home attendances of 10,000 people or more will need to provide a “reasonable number” of checks at the turnstiles.But Rangers have said no supporter will be turned away from today’s match after the rollout of the app suffered issues when it launched on Friday.The Scottish government said previously there will be no legal enforcement of the rules until October 18, in order to give venues a chance to test the checking procedures.
