Ramsbottom Festival will not return until 2021, organisers have announced. It will be the second year in a row that the popular music festival, which is held at Ramsbottom Cricket Club in Bury , will not be take place.
Organisers previously said that the event, which is also known as Head for the Hills festival, would take a 'break' in 2019, but that it was expected to be held again this year.
But now they have said it has been taking 'longer than we had hoped' to return, but promised fans that it will be 'worth the wait'.
The festival first took place in 2011, and previous headliners have included Slow Readers Club, Maximo Park, The Stranglers, Inspiral Carpets and British Sea Power.
