Quentin Tarantino’s mother has responded to the director’s vow that he made as a child to not support her financially.Tarantino spoke on The Moment podcast earlier this month about his decision, which he says came from a lack of support that the filmmaker received from his mother growing up.Following some academic trouble that Tarantino found himself in at school, he said that his mother “was bitching at me about [writing screenplays]… and then in the middle of her little tirade, she said, ‘Oh, and by the way, this little writing career’ – with the finger quotes and everything – ‘this little writing career’ that you’re doing? Quentin Tarantino made a promise to his mother, Connie Zastoupil, years and years ago when he was a child after she belittled his love of screenwriting: he’d never give her a cent of his fortune.

TMZ, the "Suicide Squad" star said he met an aspiring model back in 2017 and admitted that they had a "brief romantic relationship" in 2018. After the romance ended, he alleges that she began "using harassment, threats of physical violence by herself and others, and threats to disseminate false information to extort money from [him]." She is also now claiming they had nonconsensual sex, which he denies.The woman, Joel alleges, has gang ties and has threatened to hurt him.
