The Queen has offered her grandson Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle an olive branch as she invited them to Balmoral over the summer.
The visit could see the Duke, 37, and Duchess, 40, spend time with her majesty, 96, - who recently led tributes to her great grandson Prince George on his birthday - at her Scottish estate during the summer when other senior royals are not around.The Balmoral Estate is a favourite with Queen Elizabeth and she headed up to the Highlands on Thursday 21 July, where she plans to stay at Craigowan Lodge for the next 10 weeks.
A source told The Sun: “Staff have been told to expect the full list of royals including Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet. "They are preparing for the Sussexes.” Meghan, Harry and their kids were recently in the UK as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.
Another insider told the publication: “Balmoral is the perfect place for them to spend a little bit of quality time with the Queen. "They barely had 15 minutes with her at the jubilee.” While a third source told The Sun on Sunday: “I would be stunned if they did turn up.” OK!
