Pubs in Glasgow ignoring Test and Protect guidelines as calls made for mandatory rules

Test and Protect amid allegations some are failing to take any personal information at all. Some rogue landlords are allowing punters to drink in the east end of Glasgow without bothering to ask for details needed for contract tracing.

Currently pubs are ‘strongly encouraged’ to log personal details as part of Test and Protect.But calls have been made from the Scottish Licensed Trade Association (SLTA) to make it mandatory.
