Cash, jewellery and a mobile phone were stolen from the couple's bag as they walked between the Metrolink platform on Market Street and St Peter's Square.
The theft took place some time between 6pm and 6.30pm on September 21. A post on the GMP City Centre Facebook page said: "Do you recognise this woman?
