Police launch probe into death of toddler in Dundee after tot took unwell at home

Police Scotland have launched an investigation into the death of a three-year-old boy in Dundee. Officers sealed off an address in the Menzieshill area of the city as they carried out door-to-door enquiries.

A spokesman revealed the toddler took unwell at an address in Orleans Place on Thursday evening. He was taken to Ninewells Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A source close to the probe said officers do not think the death is linked to the Coronavirus outbreak.One local, who declined to be named, said plain clothed police were at the scene yesterday.He told the local Evening News: “We are stunned to hear what had happened.
