Police descend on street after boy, 4, injured by dog

Police have descended on a Levenshulme street after a young child was injured by a dog. Emergency services were called to Stockport Road at around 2.30pm on Thursday afternoon to reports a four-year-old boy had been hurt by a dog.

The boy is thought to have received 'minor facial injuries.' His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing. Footage from the scene shows several police vehicles parked near the scene
