Police appeal for help to identify man pulled from water at popular Scots park

Police are appealing to the public for help to identify a man pulled from the water in Lanarkshire. The man was rescued from the water in the Goose Beach area of Strathclyde Park around 3.25pm on Monday June 1.Cops believe he was sunbathing on his own in the area before entering the water and getting into difficulty.

He was rushed to Wishaw General Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. The man, who remains unidentified, is described as being in his late 40s or early 50s, 5ft 9in tall and of slim build with medium length brown hair which is greying.He has a tattoo of a small cross on left arm with three dots above it.At the time he was wearing a grey zipper, a navy top, navy swim shorts and dark trainers and was in possession
