Ronan Keating has been mocked with his own lyrics by port officials after he shared a misleading social media post about ships and the coronavirus.
The singer posted a now deleted picture on Instagram of ships outside a port in Singapore on Sunday, saying they were not allowed to dock because of the Covid-19 virus.
However the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore disputed his claim, saying no ships had been turned away because of the virus and it was normal for it to be so busy.
An Instagram post from the port said: “We are glad that Ronan Keating caught a glimpse of the busy Port of Singapore. “Every two to three minutes, a ship arrives or leaves Singapore.
