Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel believes the cut-off point has now been passed for Donny van de Beek to have a future at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman joined United in September last year from Dutch giants Ajax off the back of a hugely successful 2019/20 campaign, which saw him score ten goals and grab 11 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
However, his time at Old Trafford has proven to be largely uninspiring, with the 24-year-old having played just 41 times for United in all competitions.
Van de Beek, who has scored just one goal in United colours, has made just five appearances in all competitions so far this season, only two of which have been starts.
