Marisa Tomei: ‘I regret playing movie moms’
Oscar winner Marisa Tomei regrets playing moms on the big screen because now she’s bombarded with scripts for maternal roles.The actress portrayed Peter Parker’s aunt in the latest run of Spider-Man movies and in her new film, The King of Staten Island, she’s playing Pete Davidson’s mother but she admits ‘movie mom’ wasn’t something she wanted on her resume.Marisa, who isn’t a mother in real life, tells Collider, “I really regret starting down this road and I really regret starting to do that. I was, you know, talked into it… that change, and I really always felt like, ‘Oh, I could play a lot of things’.
