Eagles founding member Randy Meisner died on July 26.The next day, the legendary band he helped make famous announced his passing on social media. Despite his contributions to the band, assisting in creating their most iconic hits, playing bass and playing a part in the songwriting, Meisner was never comfortable with fame, an issue that eventually led to his exit from the spotlight. The Eagles formed in 1971 with the help of another unforgettable rock act, Linda Ronstadt.
