Orlando Bloom
Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Copeland Bloom (born 13 January 1977) is an English actor. He made his breakthrough as the character Legolas in The Lord of the Rings film series, a role he reprised in The Hobbit film series. He gained further acclaim by appearing in epic fantasy, historical, and adventure films, most notably as Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Orlando Bloom is heading home! As you’re likely aware, Hollywood has not been exempt from the coronavirus, which has caused the shut down of several ongoing productions and will be delaying the release of films out of precaution.

And Carnival Row, Bloom’s series on Amazon, is no exception. Related: Disneyland Is Shutting Down! On Thursday, the 43-year-old took to his Instagram Story to announce production on the show —filmed in Prague, Czech Republic — has been halted for the time being.

He announced in the video: Bloom continued (below): Though it is unclear if Orlando has been in contact with anyone infected, many are self-quarantining and practicing social distancing in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19.
