Olivia Wilde is opening up about the reasons she fired Shia LaBeouf from Don’t Worry Darling.

When the movie was first announced, it was Shia, not Harry Styles, who was starring opposite Florence Pugh.

Speaking with Variety, Olivia revealed what the main reason was for letting go of Shia from the film. Click inside to read more… Olivia admits that she knew Shia needed to be let go from the film in early 2020. “I say this as someone who is such an admirer of his work: His process was not conducive to the ethos that I demand in my productions,” she shared. “He has a process that, in some ways, seems to require a combative energy, and I don’t personally believe that is conducive to the best performances.” At the time of the decision, Olivia said it was a “no a**holes policy” on the set.

Just months later, Shia was accused of sexual, emotional, and psychological abuse by former co-star and partner, FKA Twigs.
