NATIONAL Television Awards viewers have slammed the ITV show as a "fix" after the channel's daytime show This Morning won. It follows huge backlash aimed at hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby after they skipped the queue to see the Queen lying-in-state.
The presenters ignored boos as they delivered a winning speech on stage. Despite it being the result of a public vote, conspiracy theorist viewers complained the duo shouldn't have won.
One said: "@ITV Fix it for the #QueueJumpers to Win from #ThisMorning ???" Another added: "Sorry but if there ever was a fix this is it.
There is no way they won this year." Another viewer added: "Sorry but #ThisMorning winning has fix written all over it." An ITV spokesman has vehemently denied the claims the public vote is a fix.
