No new coronavirus deaths in Scotland for third day in a row as eight new cases confirmed

Beer gardens and outdoor areas of restaurants will open by July 6, bringing a boost to summer spirits.The five-mile visiting restriction looks set to be lifted on July 3.From July 13, outdoor contact sports for children will be allowed and non-essential shops outside shopping centres allowed to open.Two days later it is planned that hairdressers can also reopen.Final decisions on moving into Phase 3 will be taken in line with the statutory three-weekly review cycle, due on July 9.Some measures have also come into force across Scotland with face coverings becoming mandatory on public transport.
