Airdrie, Uddingston Grammar and Stepps Primary School were the latest schools in Scotland to record positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday a nursery in Fife was forced to close after a young child tested positive for Covid-19. The youngster at Newburgh Primary School and Nursery is now self isolating at home with other relatives for two weeks.
NHS Fife confirmed that while the nursery was closed for deep cleaning, the rest of the school remained open for older children.
