Last night, Boris Johnson announced that shoppers will now only be able to venture outside of the house to buy 'essentials'.
With that in mind, while most non-essential high street shops have now closed, the major supermarkets are still operating - though at reduced hours to ensure they can be restocked and that staffing needs are met.
This morning, Home Bargains confirmed that it will remain open to provide the public with essentials like food and cleaning products.
The discount store has said that it will try not to reduce its opening times as this would increase the volume of shoppers in store during the hours in which it is open.
