Neighbours legend Madge Bishop to return for show finale – 21 years after character’s death

NEIGHBOURS legend Madge Bishop is set to reappear in Ramsay Street — as a ghost. She will feature in the Aussie soap’s final episode alongside a string of stars.

Madge, played by Anne Charleston, was wed to Harold and mum to Kylie Minogue’s character Charlene. She was an Erinsborough favourite before dying of pancreatic cancer in 2001.

Anne, 79, was recently back on set to film her scene for Friday’s finale on Channel 5.
