Chicken chain Nando’s has revealed that they are slashing prices across their mouth-watering menu. The reason for the cheaper menu is that last week chancellor Rishi Sunak announced in parliament that the VAT on food in restaurants, cafes and bars will be reduced from 20% to 5% from 15 July up until January to help the hospitality industry.
And this is great news for fans of the Portuguese chain because scrummy sides such as halloumi sticks are 50p cheaper down from £3.95 to £3.45.
Whereas a quarter chicken has been cut down to £3.70 from £4.25, saving you 55p. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK's daily newsletter.
