Mum in disbelief after son is punished for using 'bad language' at school

mum has taken to a popular online parenting form for advice after her son was disciplined at school for what she has claimed to be a 'nonsense exclamation', reports Liverpool Echo.

The baffled parent took to Mumsnet's 'Am I Being Unreasonable'online thread to consult if the phrase 'flipping heck' was a rude phrase after her eight-year-old son was punished for using it at school after missing a goal playing football in PE class.

She wrote the post: "At pick up yesterday the teacher asked me to wait behind for a minute as my 8yo Ds had been put on red (they have a traffic light system- start on green, if really good go to silver and then gold, if naughty go to orange and then red.
