MSP brands Airdrie bus vandalism a 'life-threatening' attack

repeatedly smashed bus windows on the 211 service through Calderbank, causing thousands of pounds of damage to three vehicles which remain off the road awaiting repairs.

Residents have now been left stranded after the the route was diverted away from the village, with operator Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) saying the attacks had left “no choice” but to suspend the service for the safety of both drivers and passengers.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
