parts of Greater Manchester saw flash flooding.Several hours of downpours on Tuesday saw water coming into homes in parts of Bury yesterday (Tuesday).Trains were also halted due to landslips and some of the region's motorways were closed due to standing water.And despite some respite being forecast further heavy showers are expected to move in later tonight (Wednesday).Despite a drizzly night, the heavy showers did begin to ease off last night and into the early hours of today.And despite some light isolated showers first thing, it has otherwise been a dry if grey and overcast start to the day for most parts of the region.And is set to be the picture for the most of the day.The Met Office say it will be cloudy but there will be some sunny.
