A hotline has been launched to help NHS workers struggling with their mental health as they work on the frontline during the coronavirus pandemic.

Hundreds of thousands of health workers are currently working long hours and under difficult circumstances as more and more people contract the virus.

Anyone needing help with the pressures they are facing will be able to call or text a free number staffed by more than 1,500 trained volunteers.

Those from Hospice UK, the Samaritans and Shout will listen to NHS and social care staff and give psychological support to those in need.
