Meghan Markle has given fans a first look at her 2018 wedding speech. It came as the Duchess of Sussex, 41, opened up about life with her husband Prince Harry, 37, after the pair stepped down from their royal duties and relocated to Los Angeles.

Speaking to The Cut magazine, Meghan spoke about the reports that her and Prince Harry will feature in a documentary. While she didn't confirm that the two are appearing in a show that documents their personal lives, she did say: "The piece of my life I haven't been able to share, that people haven't been able to see, is our love story." Meghan then shared a quote from the ending of her wedding speech and explained that she had a "resounding knowing that, 'above all, love wins'.” She added: "I hope that is the sentiment that people feel when they see any of the content or the projects that we are working on." While it's known that the Duchess and her father have had a strained relationship in recent years, Meghan also seemingly revealed that Prince Harry feels like he lost his father.

She told the magazine: “Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process'. It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision.” It was later clarified by Omid Scobie that Meghan was talking about Harry's view on her father - not his own.

Meghan and Prince Harry returned to England in June for the Queen's platinum jubilee. Speaking about how she found returning to their former home Frogmore Cottage, the 41 year old said: “You go back and you open drawers and you’re like, Oh my gosh. This is what I was writing in my journal there?
