A new tell-all book about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the British royal family claims that Markle and Kate Middleton have had plenty of “awkward moments” during their relationship.
However, the sisters-in-law have never been “at war with each other” like some UK tabloids have claimed. In a new excerpt from the upcoming biography Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand write about the tension between Prince Harry and Prince William, as well as Meghan and Kate’s relationship. “Though it was not necessarily her responsibility, Kate did little to bridge the divide,” write Scobie and Durand.
