McDonald's explains why no restaurants in the North are reopening next week

Earlier today, McDonald's confirmed the full list of restaurants which will be reopening for delivery on 13 May. The fifteen selected restaurants will be open for delivery only, and drive thrus will remain shut.

However, the list has caused something of a backlash amongst customers, as there isn't a single restaurant in the Midlands, North of England, Wales or Scotland on the list.

Meanwhile, Luton is being treated to not one, but three of its McDonald's reopening, and as you can imagine, people really aren't happy.

We wanted to get to the bottom of this, so we asked McDonald's why these specific restaurants have been opened, and when Manchester can expect to be able to order some McNuggets.
