Twitch has changed its COVID-19 guidelines for TwitchCon, with attendees now required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test, as well as wearing a face mask while indoors.TwitchCon is set to take place next month in San Diego, with players able to meet streamers and take part in “legendary cosplay contests, rivals tournaments, meet and greets, rare loot, panels, artist alley” and witness an “epic” musical performance.However, following criticism from some fans about the lack of COVID-19 safety precautions, Twitch has now updated the entry requirements for the three-day event.“We’ve heard from many of you that you want a safer TwitchCon, so we’re updating our policy,” said Twitch in a Tweet. “Masks will be required indoors, as well as either proof of vaccination or a negative covid test.

Bella Poarch has issued an apology to Cardi B, after a hacking incident led to the ‘WAP’ singer being the target of trolling from Poarch’s Twitter account.Yesterday (August 12), tweets about Poarch’s debut EP, ‘Dolls’ – which dropped the same day – were sent from the Twitter account of news site Pop Crave. THQ Nordic teased another South Park video game at the end of its digital showcase yesterday (August 12) in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios.The reveal came right at the end of the stream, when THQ Nordic said it has 26 unannounced games still in development, which it then scratched out and reduced to 25 after showing the South Park Digital Studios logo alongside audio of South Park character Randy Marsh screaming “Hot hot hot hot”.The exact moment in the stream can be seen below.As of publication (August 13), it’s unclear what platforms this game will be on, or if it will be similar to other major Triple-A games in the franchise.In recent years, South Park has stuck to RPGs. 2014’s The Stick Of Truth was developed by Obsidian Entertainment in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios, while 2017’s The Fractured But Whole was developed by Ubisoft San Francisco.However, a new video game in the televisionfranchise was mentioned by creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone back in 2021. US actor Anne Heche has been declared legally brain dead a week after being involved in a car crash that left her critically injured. The Six Days, Seven Nights actor was taken to the hospital on August 5 after her car crashed into a Los Angeles home and caught on fire. “Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy. Woody Harrelson is in negotiations to lead the ensemble of “Sailing,” a new comedy musical by “Rock of Ages” creator Chris D’Arienzo, for Lionsgate.Taking place in the late seventies, the film will chronicle the adventures of a group of musicians as they make their way into the sounds and lifestyle of “yacht rock,” a variation of soft rock that came to prominence on FM radio during that era.Jeremy Plager, who worked with D’Arienzo to sell the pitch, will develop and produce with Harrelson and Megamix’s Jonathan Levine and Gillian Bohrer as part of the production banner’s first-look deal with Lionsgate.“Everything about the yacht rock vibe, ethos and lifestyle will be brought on board this fun and hilarious nostalgic comedy,” said Lionsgate president of production Erin Westerman in a release. “We’re thrilled to be working with Jeremy, Jonathan, Gillian, Chris, and Woody, and we’re confident that it will not only have a phenomenal soundtrack, but it will also put you in a summertime mood.”Harrelson, who starred in last year’s “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” adds to a slate that includes “The Man From Toronto” opposite Kevin Hart and Cannes’ 2022 Palme d’Or winner “Triangle of Sadness.” Prior to “Rock of Ages,” D’Arienzo wrote “Jordeys,” “Hot,” and “Barry Munday,” which he also directed.
