Masked knifemen on crime spree smash into house and attack man
manchestereveningnews.co.ukdirect to your inboxA gang of knife-wielding thugs went on a mini-crime spree across Trafford.Four men – one carrying a baseball bat and a sledgehammer – were first spotted on Park Road in Stretford at around 10.30pm last night.The group, described as being white and aged between 19 and 23, were seen getting into a silver Renault Megane and headed in the direction of Trafford Park.Around 30 minutes later a balaclava-clad gang of three males, all of whom were wielding knives, broke into a property on Repton Avenue in Flixton.They attacked a man inside the home before attempting to steal car keys.Police say they then fled the scene just after 11pm in a silver Renault Megane.The victim was left with minor injuries and did not require hospital.
