Channel 5 bosses after just one season. The British version of the successful US series launched last year and was presented by the ex- TOWIE star as he helped personal trainer Alex Marks on his quest to find love in South Africa.
But as the show's UK presence was no where near as successful as it is in the US, TV bosses have pulled the plug after just nine episodes - despite the show being nominated for a TV Choice Award.
Confirming news of the axe to Daily Star Sunday, bosses said: "We can confirm that The Bachelor will not be returning for another series on Channel 5."
