Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic outcast Marian Shved is reportedly set to be offered the chance to reboot his career back in Ukraine. Reports in the winger's homeland claim Oleksandriya want to sign him on-loan once football restarts.

Shved has made just three appearances for Neil Lennon 's side since his £2million move in summer 2019, one of Brendan Rodgers ' last signings before his departure.

A five minute cameo appearance against Clyde in the Scottish Cup this year was his first sighting in the Hoops since October and he's failed to make any kind of impression.

Last month, he admitted he had struggled to get a game at Celtic because his team mates were too good and he accepted his position as a fringe player.
