Manhunt launched after crook steals cash and keys during 'sneak-in-theft' at Scots home

Police were called to Deanshaugh Terrace in Elgin amid reports of the burglary at a property between 9.30am and 11am on Monday August 23.

Vehicle keys, one with a Royal Bank of Scotland keyring and the other with a baby photo keyring, and change in money bags were stolen in the bizarre attack.Police are urging witnesses or those with information to come forwards.Locals are also being warned to be vigilant when it comes to their personal belongings.PC Devenney said: “This incident occurred during daylight hours"I would appeal to anyone who may have saw or heard anything unusual at the relevant times to get in touch with us.“I would take this opportunity to remind all householders to be mindful of securing their valuables and property at all.
