Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Between them Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have scored 35 goals for Manchester United this season, with both enjoying their best campaign in front of goal for the club.
The pair have struck up a fine understanding, with Rashford on the left and Martial playing centrally, despite having similar traits in their game.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer backed them to replace the goals of Romelu Lukaku when he was sold to Inter Milan last summer and the Norwegian has found a way to build a team that has helped them both flourish.
And while they want to operate in similar areas, Rashford believes it's the fact that they are so alike as players that has helped them develop a relationship.
