The former Celtic full back stuck up his middle finger while a photo of the entire squad was being taken after their brilliant 2-0 win at Wembley.
It quickly got shared on social media with supporters laughing at Tierney’s gesture but the full back was quick to ensure nobody was offended by it.
He took to Twitter to explain that it was a joke and he didn’t realise it was going to be shared as he said: “Didn’t realise this was getting posted.
