A driver has won a council planning appeal to keep a tiny driveway - after arguing his car was small enough to fit into it and being told to parallel park.
George Burnett's newly-built drive is 4.3 metres long, which is well short of the usual six metres, EdinburghLive reports. It was originally refused planning permission by Midlothian council, which believed cars would overhang on to the pavement.
