Man seriously injured in Scots street attack by suspect exiting white Mercedes

A 40-year-old man has been left seriously injured following an attack in East Kilbride. Police said the incident happened in the South Lanarkshire town's Mulberry Drive, between 2pm and 2.15pm on Saturday.

A man exited a white Mercedes car and carried out the assault on the street. The victim was taken to Wishaw General Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Constable Natalie Barrie, of Rutherglen Police Station, said: “We are urging anyone with information on who is responsible for this attack to please come forward.“We are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV from the area, or any motorists who were near Mulberry Drive around the time of the incident and may have potential dashcam footage.“If you believe you can
