Manchester City have named a classroom in their academy after Stan Horne following a vote taken by players and staff. Horne, who played for the Blues between 1965 and 1968, was finally awarded a league winners' medal last weekend alongside three of his teammates having missed out at the time due to a lack of appearances.
Having been the first black footballer in City's history when he joined the club, he then became the first black footballer to win the First Division when City triumphed under Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison.
