QPR from Livingston, was born on Australia's Gold Coast to parents from Dumfries. Speculation over which nation he would choose has been rife for months amid strong interest from both.

But now he's been given a first call-up by Steve Clarke for the Nations League double-header at home to Israel and away to the Czech Republic.

Dykes, who came to Scotland four years ago to join Queen of the South, said: "Scotland gave me my chance for my career. "I have only played professional four or five years but without Scotland, God knows where I would have been."Obviously I wanted to give something back to Scotland.
