The 24-year-old waved goodbye to Weatherfield back in March where she spent five years playing teenager Bethany Platt. Lucy wanted to leave the ITV soap to explore new opportunities but the current coronavirus pandemic has put a halt on a lot of work plans.
Speaking to The Sun, the Blackpool actress said: "It was really difficult to make the decision to leave, but I’d been there for five years and it was all I'd ever known.
