Lisa Marie Presley will "forever be mourning the loss" of her son Benjamin Keough — who died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27 — as she shared a somber Instagram post detailing her struggles with grief nearly two years after his death. "Hello everyone, I haven’t posted in quite some time because there really isn’t much to say, as I am and will forever be mourning the loss of my son," she wrote.  "Navigating through this hideous grief that absolutely destroyed and shattered my heart and my soul into almost nothing has swallowed me whole.

Not much else aside from my other 3 children gets my time and attention anymore."  The news of Keough's death was confirmed to Fox News at the time in a statement from Presley's rep, via her manager, who said she was "completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated." The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office told Fox News that an autopsy completed at the time ruled his cause of death as an "intra oral shotgun wound." His manner of death is listed as"suicide." He was later buried alongside his grandfather in the Meditation Garden at Graceland.
