Jim Goodwin might need a new tele after watching the Buddies' Celtic Park horror show from home. The St Mirren boss was on the phone to stand-ins Sharp and Jamie Langfield throughout Saturday afternoon's mauling.

The match couldn't have gone much worse for the Saints, with Sharp insisting some of the big calls went against his side in Glasgow after suffering a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Celtic.

He told Express Sport: “There was a lot of dialogue with Jim before the game and he was on the phone to Jamie Langfield throughout with things we maybe weren’t seeing. “He gave us some instructions to be put on to the players.“He was watching at home and probably throwing things at the telly.
